PUMA and MASU Unveil Their Third Capsule Collection Fusing Victorian & Sportswear

Creative Director Shinpei Goto Returns for a Standalone Third Chapter, Transforming Archival PUMA Silhouettes Into Romantic Streetwear Artifacts

Japanese menswear brand MASU and sportswear icon PUMA have officially introduced their new third capsule collection. Following their previous creative endeavors, this standalone third installment represents a heightened conceptual evolution. Creative Director Shinpei Goto applies his signature romanticism to PUMA archives, reinterpreting nineteenth century gentlemanly tailoring through the lens of modern Tokyo street culture.

The defining piece of this third capsule is a radical revision of PUMA’s classic T7 track jacket. Shinpei Goto elevates the nineteen sixty-eight athletic staple by integrating Victorian ceremonial coat elements, including decorative multi-button front closures and asymmetrical cross-body flap pockets. Executed in a sleek dark palette, the jacket combines sportswear utility with historical grandeur, finished with embroidered angel motifs and classic PUMA branding.

Footwear in this third collection centers on an aged interpretation of the PUMA Suede. Featuring a distressed Ivory and Black finish, the sneaker incorporates tailored coat construction details on the upper along with gold-foil stamped angel logo lace tags. The footwear is designed to be paired with knee-high long hose socks featuring an all-over angel monogram pattern.

This third capsule collection solidifies Shinpei Goto’s reputation for subversive tailoring while offering a fresh narrative for PUMA sportswear. The limited release drops at select international retailers and online flagships, marking another milestone in high-fashion athletic collaborations.
