Madrid Takes the Global Spotlight: MBFWMadrid SS27 Kicks Off Across Architectural Landmarks

The global fashion spotlight shifts straight to Europe as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid (MBFWMadrid) officially opens its Spring/Summer 2027 edition from September 14 to 19. Spain’s premier fashion platform is redefining its format this season, weaving runway presentations into Madrid’s most extraordinary architectural and cultural venues—starting with the breathtaking glasshouse of the Palacio de Cristal de Arganzuela.

Over the next six days, the capital will host leading Spanish and international houses, including Redondo Brand, Isabel Sanchis, Odette Álvarez, Malne, Custo Barcelona, Lola Casademunt by Maite, and Alvarno.

Adding historical milestone weight to this edition, Saturday, September 19 will mark the 20th anniversary of Allianz EGO, the acclaimed platform that has served as the launching pad for two decades of emerging avant-garde talent in Spanish fashion.
