British Heritage Houses Burberry & Smythson Unveil Debut Leather & Travel Collaboration

Two of Britain’s most iconic heritage houses, Burberry and Smythson, have united for the first time to create an exclusive collection of leather notebooks, travel games, and stationery accessories. Rooted in a shared history of British exploration, from Burberry equipping historic polar expeditions to Smythson crafting bespoke logbooks for global travelers, the collaboration bridges timeless leather craftsmanship with modern luxury lifestyle design.

Handcrafted at Smythson’s historic bookbinding workshop in Hertfordshire, the collection centers on Panama crossgrain leather notebooks filled with Smythson’s trademarked pale-blue Featherweight paper. The covers feature embossed illustrations and playful British weather phrases, while the interior endpapers display either Burberry’s signature House Check or a tonal map of London drawn directly from Burberry’s Fall/Winter 2026 runway collection. Beyond stationery, the capsule includes roll-up backgammon and chess sets lined in House Check fabric, as well as gilt-edged playing card sets housed in gold-stamped leather travel cases, complete with complimentary initial personalization.
