The September Circuit: Fashion Month 2026

Six cities, one continuous season, and the first real look at what Spring/Summer 2027 is going to feel like. September doesn’t ease fashion back into gear , it opens the door in Asia and keeps it open, city after city, for over a month straight.

Tokyo Fashion Week — August 31–September 5
The circuit actually opens here, not in New York. Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo blends established labels with genuinely experimental “off-schedule” shows in spaces like Yoyogi National Stadium, favoring Japan’s ongoing conversation between tradition and something more futuristic.

Seoul Fashion Week — September 1–7
This year carries real weight: Seoul Fashion Week turns 25, and instead of staying inside DDP, the entire city becomes the runway , Deoksugung-gil, Hongje Yuyeon, even Heungcheonsa Temple pressed into service as show venues. Andersson Bell opens the season, and Berlin Showroom makes its first-ever appearance on Korean soil.

New York Fashion Week — September 10–15
The American leg opens with real stakes this year: Henry Zankov debuts as artistic director of Diane von Furstenberg on day one, and Thom Browne closes the week. Unlike the more concentrated Asian and European calendars, New York keeps its audience moving across the entire city, all week.

London Fashion Week — September 17–21
London picks up where New York leaves off, and does it differently on purpose. Less about spectacle, more about experimentation , the city that consistently produces the season’s strangest, most talked-about silhouettes before anyone else dares to.

Milan Fashion Week — September 22–28
Milan speaks a different language entirely: craftsmanship, precision tailoring, the kind of construction that turns a garment into an object worth wanting. This year it opens alongside Vogue World: Milano on September 22, bringing Italian creativity and culture into the same conversation as the runway itself.

Paris Fashion Week — September 28–October 6
The circuit closes, as it always does, in Paris , the longest leg of the six, and traditionally the one carrying the most weight. Where the season’s overall mood gets its final word.

Six cities. One continuous read on where fashion is actually heading next , and for the first time in a while, Asia gets to open the conversation instead of just closing it out.
